Rule 258, which says and I quote, “Any member, at any time, submits a Point of Order for the decision of the chair.” So it is my right, it cannot be curbed.
Why am I raising the Point of Order that I will explain.
I tried long to invite your kind attention to the Rule but you are not looking at me, you are not allowing me that is my problem.
Sir, I am referring to Rule 238, I am the last person to violate any Rule.
Rule 238(5) please concerns rules to be observed while speaking, whoever he or she maybe, rule is applicable to all members. A member while speaking shall not reflect upon the conduct of persons in high authority unless the discussion is based on a substantive motion. Some remarks have been made on the conduct of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal and that cannot be allowed.
Yes, Yes, Yes.. and we have the report. What has been said that is misleading. Because we have the record. We have the record with us to show, we shall table it.
