Asit Mal speaks on rising prices of daily commodities

Hon’ble Chairman Sir, I would like to raise the issue of rising prices of daily commodities. The prices of daily commodities is increasing in leaps and bounds all over the country. They are going beyond the purchasing capacity of the common people. But, the central government is surprisingly silent.
Common people are suffering a lot. It is very painful. Sir, particularly, the prices of onions is now about Rs 100 per kg. The central government cannot avoid its responsibility.
I would request the government to take all necessary steps to reduce prices in the interest of the common people. Thank you so much, Sir.
