Bangla CM visits hospitals to boost morale of doctors, health workers

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today evening visited almost all the major hospitals in Kolkata and the quarantine centre in Rajarhat to oversee their COVID-19 preparedness and to boost the morale of doctors and health workers when they are fighting day and night risking their lives to save people from COVID-19.
The hospitals she visited are RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, NRS Medical College and Hospital, SSKM Hospital, Beliaghata ID Hospital and MR Bangur Hospital.
The chief minister spoke to the principals, senior officials of the hospitals, other doctors and nurses and enquired about the present situation in their respective hospitals. She also enquired about the supply of masks, hand sanitisers and other materials required at this point of time, and distributed hand sanitisers and masks at all the hospitals.
Importantly, she informed the hospital authorities that the State Government has arranged for their accommodation in nearby hotels.
Mamata Banerjee urged all doctors and health workers to also take care of their own health by maintaining all the precautionary measures while treating patients. She told the doctors and health workers at all the hospitals that she had come to salute them all for working relentlessly to save people in this pandemic situation.
