‘Jaago’ project – A new hope for women
The Trinamool Congress government, led by Mamata Banerjee, has taken various steps for the development of women since coming to power in 2011. The new project ‘Jaago’ takes a step forward in this regard.
The new project will benefit women belonging to various self-help groups. Under the inspiration of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the project was launched on November 29 at Central Park in Salt Lake.
Benefits of the ‘Jaago’ project:
An annual subsidy of Rs 5,000 will be provided to registered self-help groups
There is no need to submit applications
