Pratima Mondal’s Zero Hour mention on the need for more stoppages for trains at Matla Halt Station
Sir, I would like to draw the attention of the hon. Railway Minister. I am raising this issue fourth time in this House. Under my parliamentary constituency Jaynagar, there is a halt station named Makla between Sealdah and Canning
Railway Line. Since its inauguration in the year 2021, people are getting the opportunity of availing very limited train services. In the morning and evening, there is no train halt at Makla. Students of different schools and colleges, employees of different sectors, and vendors have to travel long to reach the next station to catch their train, which leads to an increase in their daily expenses.
