Pratima Mondal’s Supplementary Question on the reasons for the exclusion of Gangasagar Mela from the Swadesh Darshan and PRASAD schemes
Thank you, hon. Speaker Sir for allowing me one supplementary question against Question number 103. Sir, the Gangasagar, the second largest pilgrimage congregation after Kumbh, has been denied any coverage under Swadesh Darshan or PRASHAD scheme. What is the reason for the continued exclusion of Gangasagar from national pilgrimage scheme despite its clear religious and tourism importance? Will the Minister consider including Gangasagar under the scheme? Thank you, Sir
