Lok Sabha Asit Kumar Mal’s Zero Hour mention, demanding the restarting of MGNREGS in Bengal

As you know, in 2015, this Parliament passed a law for the job card holders across India with the promise of 100 days of work. Unfortunately, every state and union territory across India gets 100 days of work and money allocated for that, but West Bengal has been deprived for several years. We have been struggling, protesting, but nothing has been done. After that, the West Bengal government, led by Honourable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, transferred the money for this work to the accounts of 28 lakh job card holders. Recently, the Supreme Court has ordered that 100 days of work should be started in West Bengal. So, I want to tell this through you that the Supreme Court has ruled against the deprivation done by the central government that 100 days of work should start very soon and a wage of 600 rupees should be given to the laborers every day. Thank you
