Trinamool leadership shares roadmap for Lok Sabha elections with party workers at Chhatra-Jubo-Yuva convention
The Chhatra-Jubo-Yuva Convention at Durgapur laid down a roadmap for the young members of the party; the workers were told how to conduct themselves in the society, work for the party and ultimately make sure Trinamool receives a thumping victory in General Elections.
The Trinamool Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee – during the Martyrs Day Rally on January 30 – had raised the slogan, `Delhi Chalo, Bharat Garo`. She had talked about her dream of an United India. Now is the time to turn the dream into reality.
The turnout at Chhatra-Jubo-Yuva Convention at Chitralay Mela Maidan in Durgapur was huge; according senior party leaders about 1-1.5 lakh supporters from various had turned up at the venue, despite the torrential downpour.
State President Mr.Subrata Bakshi, INTTUC State President Ms. Dola Sen, Trinamool General Secretary Partha Chatterjee, Trinamool Chief Whip in the West Bengal Assembly Shovondeb Chatterjee, WB Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim, North Bengal Development Minister Gautam Deb, Trinamool Chief Whip in the Rajya Sabha Derek O`Brien, Trinamool Jubo Congress President Mr Suvendu Adhikari, Trinamool Yuva National President Mr. Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamool Chhatra Parishad President Mr. Shankudeb Panda and other leaders spoke on the occasion. While the senior leaders reminded the party workers of the struggle of Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool, the younger ones laid a roadmap for the election campaign in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls.
Trinamool Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee highlighted the achievements of the WB Govt as well as asked party workers to prepare themselves for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Laying stress of discipline and dedication, she said a soldier of the party should abide by the decisions of the leaders.
