Sougata Ray’s intervention on the rule for the appointment of the presiding officer during a discussion on no-confidence motion against the Speaker
have a point of order. In the morning also, I raised this question : who has appointed Jagdambika Pal Saheb to Chair the House? Now, after lunch, I find you, hon. Tenneti Saheb, sitting in that Chair. Who has appointed you? Are you aware who has appointed you? Are you appointed according to Article 95(2)? Has there been a proposal? Has there been a Motion in this House? Who has given that ruling?
