Saugata Roy makes Zero Hour mention of the issue of One Nation One Election

Our party boycotted the meeting called by the Prime Minister on ‘One Nation One Election’. As it is, his principle is against the federal principles, and the government had neither given sufficient time nor supplied a white paper to enable us to consider the proposal of the government to have all elections simultaneously.
But our main objection is that Home Minister Amit Shah sent two advisories to the West Bengal Government under Article 355, twice in one week. As long as the Home Minister continues sending these types of advisories, we shall not attend meetings called by the Central Government. On the one hand you want cooperation of everybody, yet on the other hand, you are trying to interfere into the affairs of the State by using Article 355.
