The hour-long meeting was attended by the festival`s core committee members including Sandip Ray, Probhat Roy, Ranjit Mallick, Haranath Chakraborty, Debasree Roy, Raj Chakraborty, Shrikant Mohta, Sandhya Roy, Surinder Singh.
The State Education Minister Bratya Basu, the Youth Service Minister Arup Biswas and the Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee were also present at the meeting.
CM Mamata Banerjee, at the meeting, said she wanted this year`s opening film to be an unreleased Rituparno Ghosh movie.
