We are constructing a new bridge to connect Kalna and Shantipur
New multi super speciality hospitals, ITIs, polytechnic colleges, agricultural university, Mati Tirtha in this district
New industries are coming up. More employment opportunities will be created
The Deocha-Pachami coal block, second largest in the world, will generate new employment opportunities
Andal airport has already started functioning. New airports are coming up at Malda and Balurghat
Nearly 70 lakh girls have been empowered under Kanyashree scheme
More than 60 lakh SC/ST students have received Sikshashree scholarship
We have started the Swami Vivekananda scholarship for higher education
We have distributed one crore cycles under Sabooj Sathi scheme
We will be issuing Swasthya Sathi smart cards in the name of women. They run the families as well as the society. More than 7.5 crore people will be eligible under the health insurance scheme
