Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s relentless fight against demonetisation has become the theme for one of her books released at the 2017 Kolkata International Book Fair. Note-Kotha details her fight against this anti-people decision of the Central Government. This is one of the six books that Mamata Banerjee has written, that have been released at the book fair this year.

Another major release is Singur Joyee, her book on the successful fight for farmers’ rights in Singur, a fight that has become a milestone in the crusade for land rights worldwide, and of course a landmark in the Mamata Banerjee’s illustrious career in public life.

Manusher Joy 2016 is based on Mamata Banerjee’s successful campaign for the 2016 Assembly election, which resulted in the Trinamool Congress Government winning the mandate for a second successful five-year term.

The other three books written by the Chief Minister that released at the 2017 Book Fair are Byaktityo, a book of poems, Namanjoli Dwitiyo, the second part of her book of names, and Khushbu.

The Chief Minister has expressed her happiness at being able to have written six books, despite her busy schedule. With these six, Mamata Banerjee has completed 69 books.

 

বইমেলায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ৬ বই

বইমেলায় পাওয়া যাচ্ছে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জির লেখা ৬টি বই। নোট বাতিল নিয়ে তাঁর লেখা বই ‌‘‌নোট কথা’‌। নোট বাতিলের ফলে দেশ জুড়ে যে ভোগান্তি হয়েছে তারই প্রতিবাদে এই বইটি।

নোট বাতিল কাণ্ডের আগে সিঙ্গুর নিয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট রায় দেয়। কৃষকদের জমি ফিরিয়ে দিতে বলে। বৃত্ত সম্পূর্ণ হয় মমতা ব্যানার্জির ১০ বছরের আন্দোলনের। জমি আন্দোলনের ইতিহাস ও গতিপ্রকৃতির কথা রয়েছে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ‘‌সিঙ্গুর জয়ী’‌ বইটিতে।

এ ছাড়া ‘‌নামাঞ্জলি ২’‌, ‘‌ব্যক্তিত্ব’‌, ‘‌মানুষের জয় ২০১৬’‌ এবং ‘‌‌মহাশ্বেতা দেবী ‌এক জীবনেই স্মৃতিকথা সংগ্রহ’‌। বইগুলি প্রকাশ করেছে দে’‌জ পাবলিশার্স। বইগুলি থাকবে বইমেলায় জাগো বাংলার স্টলে।

‘‌মানুষের জয় ২০১৬’‌ নামটি বলছে তৃণমূলের দ্বিতীয়বার বিধানসভা নির্বাচন জয়ের কথা। বইটি তিনি উৎসর্গ করেছেন সাধারণ মানুষকে।‌
