Dola Sen’s Supplementary Question on whether the Union government can stop privatising the port hospitals across the country as it negatively affecting everyone concerned
Sir, everyone knows that the Union Government has the policy of corporatization, privatization and disinvestment, especially from 2009 onwards, in all Government concerns, in Railways, etc. In airlines, we have seen its effects a few days back. It is also in BSNL, ports and all over. All port jetty and other things are being privatized. Sir, through you, I would like to know from the concerned Minister whether they can leave the policy of privatizing, at least, the port hospitals in Kolkata, in other places and all over the country. It is badly affecting patients, officers, staff, employees, workers, retired pensioners, families and all.
