Working for the welfare of people despite huge debt burden: Mamata Banerjee
Bangla Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today gave away Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman at a ceremony at Nabanna Sabhaghar. During the event she also inaugurated the new correctional home at Baruipur.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the government was working hard for the welfare of the people, despite the huge debt burden. She said in the future more infrastructure projects will be taken up.
She also urged the various Puja committees to spread the word about keeping the city clean. She said it looks bad if newly-constructed infrastructure like roads and bridges and smeared with beetle juice and waste materials.
