On the third day of her visit to Paschimanchal, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today addressed a public meeting at Shunukpahari ground in Bankura.

The Bengal Chief Minister inaugurated numerous developmental projects from today’s meeting, including road projects, bridges, check dams, hostel buildings, a handloom development project and several government buildings.

She also laid foundation stones for a bouquet of developmental projects and distributed various government benefits.

Here’s what the Chief Minister said:

No match for Trinamool in development:

  • People do not have to go to Kolkata for administrative work anymore. The Secretariat comes to districts now
  • We have done away with khajna (tax) on agricultural land. We are always with our farmers
  • Bengal produces 80 lakh eggs annually. We will become self-sufficient in egg production
  • We will help self-help groups to set up poultries to increase production
  • We give stipend to 82,000 folk artistes. One lakh more artistes will be brought under Lok Prasar Prakalpa before Durga Pujo
  • Healthcare is free in Bengal. We have started ‘Swasthya Sathi’ health insurance scheme
  • We have distributed 35 lakh cycles under Sabuj Sathi. 35 lakh more will be distributed this year
  • We have started Swami Vivekananda Merit scholarship and allotted Rs 200 crore for it
  • From Sabuj Shree at birth to Samabyathi at death, we have a scheme for every phase of life

Development initiatives for Bankura district:

  • We believe actions speak louder than words. We have distributed various govt services to 10000 people today
  • We conducted an administrative review meeting for 3 hours yesterday in Bankura. We took stock of all projects
  • Why did they (the CPM) not start any water supply project for Bankura, Purulia?
  • Till 2011, only 3% people in Bankura used to get water. Now 65% people receive water supply
  • We will start a new water supply project for 8 more blocks of Bankura by August
  • Industrial investments worth Rs 11,000 crore have been made in Bankura district
  • We have set up a university in Bankura. A multi super speciality hospital is coming up at Barjora
  • We are developing the tourism infrastructure in Bankura, from Mukutmanipur to terracotta temples of Bishnupur
  • We have started a new project worth Rs 500 crore to build check dams for irrigation
  • A project worth Rs 3,000 crore to build embankments in lower Damodar region has been taken up
  • We have started an insurance scheme for Kendu leaf collectors
  • We will provide training to local youths to prevent elephants from straying into localities

About CPI(M):

  • Left Front Govt left behind a huge debt burden. Rs 40,000 Cr goes in paying debt installments
  • I went on hunger strike for 26 days to fight for the rights of farmers. Can they (Opposition) do it?
  • When they were in power they closed down industries, forcibly took away farmlands. They are giving us lectures
  • CPI(M) and BJP have become one now. They are obstructing developmental projects just for the sake of opposition

পাঁচ বছরে যা কাজ করেছি কেউ তা পারবে না: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

পশ্চিমাঞ্চল সফরের তৃতীয় দিনে আজ বাঁকুড়ার শুনুকপাহাড়ী মাঠে একটি জনসভা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

আজকের জনসভা থেকে একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে সড়ক প্রকল্প, ব্রিজ, চেক ড্যাম, হোস্টেল, হ্যান্ডলুম ডেভেলপমেন্ট প্রজেক্ট ইত্যাদি।

আজ আইটিআই, বাস টার্মিনাস, সড়ক প্রকল্প, ইকো-ট্যুরিজম প্রকল্প, কৃষি প্রকল্প, সরকারী বাসভবন সহ বেশ কিছু প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাসও করেন তিনি।

পাশাপাশি বেশ কিছু সরকারী পরিষেবা যেমন – কন্যাশ্রী, সবুজশ্রী, সবুজ সাথী ও শিক্ষাশ্রী, বিভিন্ন মেশিনারি জিনিসপত্র, লোন ইত্যাদি প্রদান করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশ:

উন্নয়ন:

  • সরকারী কাজের জন্য এখন আর মানুষকে কলকাতা ছুটে যেতে হয় না। এখন প্রশাসন আসে জেলার মানুষের কাছে
  • কৃষিজমির খাজনা আমরা মুকুব করে দিয়েছি। আমরা কৃষকদের পাশে আছি
  • বাংলায় বছরে ৮০ লক্ষ ডিম উৎপাদন হয়। ডিম উৎপাদনে বাংলা স্বয়ং-সম্পূর্ণ হবে
  • পোল্ট্রি তৈরী করতে ও ডিম উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধিতে আমরা স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীগুলিকে সাহায্য করব
  • ৮২ হাজার লোক শিল্পীকে লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে। দুর্গা পুজোর আগে আরও ১ লক্ষ শিল্পীর নাম নথিভুক্ত হবে
  • বাংলায় বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা পাওয়া যায়। আমরা ‘স্বাস্থ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্প চালু করেছি
  • সবুজ সাথী প্রকল্পে ৩৫ লক্ষ সাইকেল দিয়েছি। এই বছর আরও ৩৫ লক্ষ সাইকেল দেওয়া হবে
  • আমরা স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট স্কলারশিপ চালু করেছি এবং এর জন্য ২০০ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ করা হয়েছে
  • সবুজশ্রী থেকে সমব্যাথী – জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত আমাদের প্রকল্প আছে
  • নোট বাতিলের ফলে যারা চাকরি হারিয়েছেন তাদের জন্য আমরা সমর্থন প্রকল্প চালু করেছি

বাঁকুড়ার উন্নয়ন:

  • কথা নয়, আমরা কাজে বিশ্বাসী। আজ প্রায় ১০ হাজার মানুষকে আমরা বিভিন্ন সরকারী পরিষেবা প্রদান করেছি
  • গতকাল বাঁকুড়ায় ৩ ঘণ্টা প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করেছি। বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের কাজ কতটা এগিয়েছে তাঁর খোঁজখবর নিয়েছি
  • বাঁকুড়া, পুরুলিয়ার জন্য কেন ওরা কোন পানীয় জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প চালু করেনি?
  • ২০১১ সাল পর্যন্ত বাঁকুড়ার ৩% লোক জল পেত। এখন ৬৫% লোক পানীয় জল পান
  • আমরা আরও একটি নতুন জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প চালু করব, আগামী আগস্ট মাসের মধ্যে বাঁকুড়ার আরও ৮টি ব্লক জল পাবে
  • বাঁকুড়ায় ১১ হাজার কোটি টাকা শিল্প লগ্নি হয়েছে
  • বাঁকুড়ায় আমরা একটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৈরী করেছি। বড়জোড়ায় একটি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল তৈরী হচ্ছে
  • মুকুটমণিপুর থেকে বিষ্ণুপুরের টেরাকোটার মন্দির – বাঁকুড়ার পর্যটন পরিকাঠামোর ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে
  • সেচের জন্য ৫০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে একটি চেক ড্যাম প্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে
  • লোয়ার দামোদর অঞ্চলে সেচের জন্য এম্ব্যাঙ্কমেন্ট তৈরী করা হবে। ৩০০০ হাজার কোটি টাকার প্রকল্প শুরু হয়েছে
  • কেন্দু পাতা সংগ্রহকারীদের জন্য আমরা পেনশন প্রকল্প চালু করেছি
  • হাতিরা যাতে লোকালয়ে না ঢুকে আসে তার জন্য আমরা স্থানীয় ছেলেমেয়েদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেব

সিপিএম:

  • বাম সরকার আমাদের ওপর বিপুল ঋণের বোঝা চাপিয়ে দিয়ে গেছে। ঋণ শোধ করছি করতে বছরে ৪০ হাজার কোটি টাকা কেটে নিয়ে যায়
  • কৃষকদের আধিকারের জন্য আমি ২৬ দিন অনশন করেছিলাম। ওরা (বিরোধীরা) করে দেখাতে পারবে?
  • সিপিএমের কোলে বিজেপি দোলে
  • কেউ যদি ভাঙচুর করে তার বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে। আমরা এই বিষয়ে আইন এনেছি
  • ওরা যখন ক্ষমতায় ছিল, একের পর এক কারখানা বন্ধ করে দিয়েছিলো, কৃষিজমি কেড়ে নিয়েছিল। এখন বড় বড় কথা।

The state Urban Development and Municipal Affairs department have set up Mukutmanipur Development Board for comprehensive development of the area, particularly tourism.

The area under the jurisdiction of the newly formed Mukutmanipur Development Authority ( MDA) is 87.50 km. This includes 10 mouzas of Hirabandh block, 19 mouzas of Khatra block and 27 mouzas of Ranibandh block.

The main purpose of MDA would be to develop tourism in vast areas surrounding Mukutmanipur. The planning area covers the Mukutmanipur dam, a well-known tourist spot with great scenic beauty, Pareshnath temple, Musafirana, a hillock beside the dam and Banpukhuria deer park.

In addition to this, vast areas of Jangalmahal like Jhilmil Sutan and Talberia which are situated close to MDA will be developed as tourist spots. The areas have rich cultural heritage and there are artisans who can manufacture craft items from bamboo, babui grass etc.

Attempts would be made to showcase the products made by local artisans.

 

মুকুটমণিপুর উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন করলো রাজ্য সরকার

মুকুটমণিপুরের সার্বিক উন্নয়ন পর্যটনের বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে গঠিত হল মুকুটমণিপুর উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ। রাজ্য পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ন দপ্তর গঠন করলো এই পর্ষদ।

মুকুটমণিপুর উন্নয়ন পর্ষদের অধীনে প্রায় ৮৭.৫ কিঃ মিঃ অঞ্চল থাকবে। এর মধ্যে আছে হীরাবাঁধ ব্লকের ১০টি মৌজা, খাতরা ব্লকের ১৯টি মৌজা ও রানীবাঁধ ব্লকের ২৭টি মৌজা।

সার্বিক উন্নয়ন লক্ষ্য হলেও এই পর্ষদের পাখির চোখ হবে মুকুটমণিপুর ও তার পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চল জুড়ে পর্যটনের বিকাশ। মুকুটমণিপুর বাঁধ, পরেশনাথ মন্দির, মুসাফিরানা, বনপুখুরিয়ার ডিয়ার পার্ক এই অঞ্চলের বেশ কিছু আকর্ষণ। এর সঙ্গে জঙ্গলমহলের ঝিলমিল সুতান, তালবেড়িয়া অঞ্চলকে পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা হবে।

এই অঞ্চলের এক সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য আছে। এখানে অনেক হস্তশিল্পী আছেন যারা বাঁশ ও বাবুই ঘাস দিয়ে নানা সামগ্রী তৈরী করেন। এই শিল্পীদেরও সাহায্য করবে এই পর্ষদ।

The state government is going to set up a Biswa Bangla outlet at Kunming Changshui International Airport in China this July. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed recently in the state administrative headquarters at Nabanna.

A Chinese delegation had attended the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) held in January and expressed its willingness to invest in Bengal. After BGBS, a Chinese had come to the city and held talks with businessmen and senior officials of the Industry department. Senior state government officials felt that opening of the stall would start a new chapter and would showcase some of the typical products from Bengal.

It may be recalled that after coming to power in 2011, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took special measures to revive the nearly-forgotten products like Muslim and sital pati along with utensils made of bell-metal. The mask industry of Purulia and South Dinajpur also witnessed a revival. The artisans were looked after. The weavers who produced Muslins for generations were not only taken care of but also given elaborate training by reputed fashion designers.

Now, along with Muslin sarees, kurtas, pyjamas, tops for women, pillow covers and bed linens have become immensely popular.

 

বিদেশের মাটিতে এই প্রথম বিশ্ববাংলা বিপণি

এই প্রথম দেশের বাইরে চালু হতে চলেছে বিশ্ববাংলা স্টল। এবার বিশ্ববাংলা স্টল জায়গা পাচ্ছে কমিউনিস্ট চিনে।ইতিমধ্যে রাজ্য সরকারের সঙ্গে চিনের একটি মউ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরও হয়েছে।

আগামী জুলাই মাসের মধ্যেই চিনের মাটিতে বিশ্ববাংলার স্টল তৈরির কাজ শেষ হবে।  চিনের কানমিং চাংশুই আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে তৈরি হচ্ছে বিশ্ববাংলা স্টল।

পুরুলিয়ার মুখোশ কোচবিহারে শীতলপাটি ,ডোকরা, বাংলার মসলিন শাড়ি, কাঁসার বাসন থেকে বর্ধমানের মিহিদানা, সীতাভোগ এবার জায়গা পাবে সুদূর চিনে।  মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর বিশ্ববাংলা ব্র্যান্ড এবার সত্যিই পৌঁছচ্ছে বিশ্বের দরবারে।  বাংলার শিল্প সংস্কৃতি থেকে খাদ্য সম্ভার এবার জায়গা করে নেবে কমিউনিস্ট চিনে।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর উদ্দেশ্য ছিল বিশ্ববাংলা ব্র্যান্ডের মধ্যে দিয়ে রাজ্যের হারিয়ে যেতে বসা হস্তশিল্পকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করা ও এই পণ্যগুলোকে বিশ্বের দরবারে তুলে ধরা। পাশাপাশি এই শিল্পের সঙ্গে জড়িত শিল্পীরাও যাতে উপকৃত হয় সেইদিকেও নজর রাখা।

কলকাতায় দমদম  বিমানবন্দর ,ঢাকুরিয়া ,দক্ষিণাপণে এবং বাগডোগরায় রয়েছে বিশ্ববাংলা স্টল।

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee declared Jhargram the 22nd district of the State today.

On November 28, 2016, the Calcutta High Court had given the necessary permissions to set up three new districts — Kalimpong, Jhargram and Asansol. On the same day, the Chief Minister had announced that the new districts will be “officially” created before Poila Boishakh – the Bengali New Year – which falls on April 15.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had declared Kalimpong as the 21st district of the State, on February 14. A new district, Paschim Bardhaman, comprising the industrial zone of Bardhaman, will be declared the 23rd district of the State on April 7, 2017.

Mamata Banerjee addressed a large crowd during the inauguration ceremony today. The salient points of her speech are sas follows:

  • A long-standing demand of the people have been fulfilled today.
  • The days of violence are gone. Peace reigns in Jhargram now.
  • April 4 will be celebrated as Jhargram Dibas from now.
  • We organise sports tournaments involving the people of Jangalmahal every year.
  • 35,000 youths have been given jobs by the police.
  • 32 lakh SC/ST students receive scholarship under the Shikshashree Scheme.
  • We will set up a university in Jhargram district in the future.
  • We have set up 9 colleges, 6 multi super-speciality hospitals in Jhargram district.
  • One lakh artistes get a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000. We will register one lakh more artistes.
  • We have registered 14,000 new people under the scheme for giving pensions to widows.
  • We have started a pension scheme for kendu leaf collectors.
  • From birth to death, we have a scheme for every phase of life.
  • We have given recognition to the Ol Chiki language.
  • We have distributed 35 lakh bicycles under the Sabuj Sathi Scheme. This year 35 lakh more bicycles will be distributed.
  • We have made healthcare free at Government hospitals. ICDS and ASHA workers have been brought under the coverage of health insurance.
  • We started the scheme of providing rice at Rs 2 per kg from Jangalmahal. Eight crore people are now covered under the Khadya Sathi Scheme.
  • We have done away with khajna (tax) on agricultural land.
  • I again urge the Centre to waive farmers’ loans.
  • We have given land pattas to 3 lakh people.
  • People of Jangalmahal are famous across the country for the chhau dance and for archery.
  • We will set up an archery academy in Jhargram.
  • We have taken up a project worth Rs 500 crore to build check dams.
  • The major share of our revenue is taken away by the Centre to pay off the debt incurred by the Left Front Government.
  • Our youths and students are the future of our country.
  • We will make Bengal the best in the world.

 

 

ভবিষ্যতে ঝাড়গ্রামে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৈরী হবেঃ মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের প্রিয় জায়গা জঙ্গলমহল। সেই জঙ্গলমহলের ৮টি ব্লককে নিয়ে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর ভেঙে গঠিত হচ্ছে ৩০২৪.৩৮ বর্গ কিলোমিটার আয়তনের পৃথক ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলা। ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলায় রয়েছে ৪ টি বিধানসভাকেন্দ্র- ঝাড়গ্রাম, গোপীবল্লভপুর, নয়াগ্রাম ও বিনপুর।

আজ, মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে ঝাড়গ্রাম রাজ কলেজের মাঠে প্রশাসনিক সভার মঞ্চ থেকে ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার সূচনা করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

জঙ্গলমহলের আদিবাসী-মূলবাসীদের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবি ছিল, অনুন্নত এলাকার সুংসহত উন্নয়নের জন্য পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার উত্তর-পশ্চিম অংশকে নিয়ে আলাদা জেলা করা হোক। সেই দাবিকেই মান্যতা দিলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

এর আগে ফেব্রুয়ারী মাসে কালিম্পঙকে রাজ্যের ২১তম জেলা হিসেবে ঘোষণা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। আগামী ৭ই এপ্রিল বর্ধমান শিল্পাঞ্চল এলাকাকে গঠিত নিয়ে ‘বর্ধমান পশ্চিম’ জেলার সূচনা করবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

 

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু বিষয়ঃ

  • আজ আমরা গর্বের সাথে বলি আমাদের নতুন জেলা ঝাড়গ্রাম যা দীর্ঘদিনের মানুষের স্বপ্ন
  • অনেক সাধারণ মানুষ খুন হয়েছেন ঝাড়গ্রাম, লালপাহাড়ি তে। আজ জঙ্গলমহলে শান্তি ফিরিয়ে দিতে পেরে আমি গর্বিত
  • আজ থেকে প্রতি বছর ৪ এপ্রিল ঝাড়গ্রাম দিবস পালন করা হবে
  • জঙ্গলমহলের মানুষদের জন্য প্রতি বছর স্পোর্টস টুর্নামেন্টের আয়োজন করা হয়
  • জঙ্গলমহলের ৩৫ হাজার ছেলেমেয়ে পুলিশে চাকরি পেয়েছে
  • ৩২ লক্ষ তপশিলি ভাই বোনেরা শিক্ষাশ্রীর স্কলারশিপের টাকা পায়
  • ভবিষ্যতে ঝাড়গ্রামের জন্য আমরা নতুন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৈরী করব
  • ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলায় ৯ টি কলেজ, ৬ টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল তৈরী হয়েছে
  • এক লক্ষ লোকশিল্পী ১০০০ টাকা মাসিক ভাতা পায়। আরও ১ লক্ষ শিল্পীকে আমরা এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনব
  • বিধবা ভাতা প্রকল্পের আওতায় ১৪০০০ মানুষের নাম নথিভুক্ত হয়েছে
  • কেন্দু পাতা সংগ্রহকারীদের জন্য আমরা পেনশন প্রকল্প চালু করেছি
  • জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত আমাদের প্রকল্প আছে
  • অল চিকি ভাষা কে আমরা স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছি

  • দু টাকা কেজি চাল প্রকল্প আমরা জঙ্গলমহল থেকেই শুরু করেছিলাম। রাজ্যের ৮ কোটি মানুষ এখন খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায়
  • কৃষিজমির খাজনা আমরা মুকুব করে দিয়েছি
  • ৩ লক্ষ মানুষকে আমরা জমির পাট্টা দিয়েছি
  • ছৌ নাচ ও তীরন্দাজির জন্য জঙ্গলমহলের মানুষ সারা দেশে জনপ্রিয়
  • ঝাড়গ্রামে আমরা তীরন্দাজির অ্যাকাডেমি তৈরী করব
  • চেক ড্যাম তৈরীর জন্য ৫০০ কোটি টাকার একটি প্রকল্প নেওয়া হয়েছে

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday demanded a probe into the alleged tampering of EVMs in the recently-concluded assembly elections.

“You can’t win elections every time by hijacking EVMs. I didn’t contest but had I done so, I would have counted from one to ten. Those who had contested the elections, should have demanded a probe,” she said.

“I think there should be a probe. Even the ones that were used in the polls, they should be subjected to a sample survey,” Mamata Banerjee said at a public rally in Kharagpur.

The Trinamool Congress Chairperson also slammed the central government’s decision to lower the interest rate in small savings scheme by 0.1 percent. “This is why chit funds flourish. There are no chit funds in our regime. One day CPI-M, Congress and BJP will have to answer for them,” she said.

সোমবার খড়্গপুরের এক জনসভায় ইভিএম কারচুপির অভিযোগের তদন্ত চাইলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

“ইভিএম কারচুপি করে সব সময় জিততে পারবে না বিজেপি। আমি (উত্তরপ্রদেশ বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে) লড়িনি। যারা লড়েছে তাদের আগেই তদন্ত চাওয়া উচিত ছিল,” তিনি বলেন।

“আমার মনে হয় তদন্ত হয় উচিত,” বলেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

এদিন, স্বল্প সঞ্চয় প্রকল্পর সুদের হার কমিয়ে দেওয়ায় কেন্দ্রকে আক্রমণ করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন এর ফলে চিট ফান্ড বাড়বে। “আমাদের সময় কোনও চিট ফান্ড তৈরী হয়নি। সিপিএম, বিজেপি, কংগ্রেসকে মানুষের কাছে জবাব দিতে হবে,” বলেন তিনি।

Following the anxiety of the public over the issue of “artificial eggs” having plastic-like quality, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has encouraged people of Bengal to consume eggs with any fear.

“I had a discussion with the Bengal poultry foundation. I have given them the responsibility to label eggs produced in Bengal. Bengal produces 80 lakh eggs. There is no problem with eggs produced in Bengal. Just check that they should be Bengal eggs,” she said.

The CM said action will be taken if something is discovered. “We will become self-sufficient in egg production. We will set up poultries for ducks like we have for hens,” she said.

 

বাংলার ডিম নির্ভয়ে খান: মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

প্লাস্টিক ডিম নিয়ে রাজ্য তোলপাড়। এই অবস্থায় অভয়বাণী শোনালেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। সোমবার খড়্গপুরের জনসভায় তাঁর ঘোষণা, ‘‘বাংলার ডিমে কোনও সমস্যা নেই। বাংলার ডিম নির্ভয়ে খান।’’

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, “আদৌ প্লাস্টিক ডিম হয় কি না, কোনটাকে প্লাস্টিক বলা হচ্ছে, এটা আমাকে একটু দেখে নিতে হবে। বাইরে থেকে যে ডিম আসছে তা একটু দেখে নিতে হবে। সব দিক দেখে নিতে আরও তিন-চার দিন সময় লাগবে।”

রাজ্যের ডিম যাতে সহজে চেনা যায়, সে জন্য দোকানিদের ‘বাংলার ডিম’ লেখা সাইনবোর্ড ঝোলানোরও পরামর্শ দেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

ম্যাগি-বিতর্ক টেনে তিনি বলেন, “যখন ম্যাগি নিয়ে খুব অভিযোগ উঠল, সবাই ভয়ে ম্যাগি খাওয়া বন্ধ করে দিল। পরে জানলাম, রাজ্যে এ নিয়ে কোনও অভিযোগ হয়নি।“ তবে প্লাস্টিক ডিমের বিষয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যথেষ্ট সন্দিহান। তাঁর কথায়, “আমি জানতে চেয়েছিলাম, এটা কে রটালো? আমার কাছে যতদূর খবর, তাঁরা না কি বাংলার নয়।”

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said that the State won’t tolerate any discrimination regarding funds from the Centre.

She demanded to know why the Centre has stopped funds for Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF) and development in Left Wing Extremism affected areas. She said that while Bengal has 88 fast-track courts and 45 women’s police stations, Gujarat has zero fast track courts. Yet, Centre allocated Rs 400 crore to Gujarat while Bengal received nothing.

She said that banks are not sanctioning loans to self-help groups under Anandadhara scheme. Students are not getting money under Swami Vivekananda Means cum Merit Scholarship. She said banks cannot deprive people like this.

The Chief Minister also said that while the State has started a Rs 500 crore water supply project named ‘Jala Tirtha’, the Centre was yet to take any action regarding Ghatal Master Plan.

 

কেন্দ্রের বঞ্চনার বিরুদ্ধে সরব হলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

আজ আরও একবার কেন্দ্রের বঞ্চনার বিরুদ্ধে সরব হলেন বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি বলেন বাংলা কোনও রকম বঞ্চনা মেনে নেবে না।

পিছিয়ে পড়া এলাকার উন্নয়নের জন্য BRGF এর টাকা কেন বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র সেই প্রশ্নও করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

তিনি জানান, “বাংলায় ৮৮টি ফাস্ট ট্র্যাক কোর্ট রয়েছে, গুজরাতে শূন্য। অথচ গুজরাতের জন্য বরাদ্দ অর্থের পরিমাণ ৪০০ কোটি টাকা আর বাংলার জন্য কিছু নেই”।

তিনি আরও বলেন “আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর লোকেদের ঋণ দিচ্ছে না ব্যাঙ্ক। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট স্কলারশিপ পাচ্ছে না ছাত্রছাত্রীরা”।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী জানান, রাজ্য ৫০০ কোটি টাকা ‘জল তীর্থ’ নামে একটি জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প চালু করেছে। অথচ ‘ঘাটাল মাস্টার প্ল্যান’ এর জন্য কিছু করেনি কেন্দ্র।

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today strongly condemned the politics of riots and communal violence at a public meeting in Kharagpur. She said that Bengal will never tolerate politics of hate.

“I believe in equality of all religions. Just like I participate in Durga Puja, I participate in Eid and Christmas also. I was born in a Hindu family. I do not need lectures in Hinduism from people who use religion for politics,” she said.

She also said that she will pray to Maa Durga to teach a lesson to the Ravans who are harassing people. She said a mother never discriminates between her children.

Referring to rumours of a ban on Mangal Aaroti at Dakkhineshwar temple, the CM said: “One Union Minister posted on FB that we have banned Mangal Aaroti at Dakkhineshwar. How can an Union Minister spread misleading information? What country are we living in? I pray to Maa Bhabotarini to give them (BJP) some good sense. We never indulge in politics over Maa Kali.”

She asked people to always cross-check the information you see on social media. “Do not believe in rumours,” the CM advised.

প্রতিহিংসার রাজনীতি ও সাম্প্রদায়িক দাঙ্গার বিরুদ্ধে আজ আরও একবার সরব হলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। খড়গপুরের একটি জনসভায় তিনি বলেন বাংলা কোন রকম হিংসার রাজনীতি বরদাস্ত করবে না।  

“আমি বিশ্বাস করি সব ধর্ম এক। আমি যেমন দুর্গা পুজোয় যাই, তেমনই ঈদ ও ক্রিসমাসেও অংশগ্রহণ করি। আমি হিন্দু পরিবারে জন্মেছি। যারা ধর্ম নিয়ে রাজনীতি করে তাদের কাছে আমি হিন্দু ধর্মের পাঠ চাইনা”, বলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

তিনি বলেন তিনি মা দুর্গার কাছে প্রার্থনা করেন, যে সব রাবণ মানুষকে হয়রান করছে তাদের যেন তিনি শিক্ষা দেন।

দক্ষিণেশ্বরে মা কালীর আরতি বন্ধ হওয়ার গুজব প্রসঙ্গে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলে, “একজন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী গুজব রটিয়েছেন আমরা নাকি দক্ষিণেশ্বরে মঙ্গল আরতি বন্ধ করে দিয়েছি।  একজন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কিভাবে এরকম গুজব রটাতে পারেন? আমরা এ কোন দেশে বাস করছি? মা ভবতারিণী ওদের সুমতি দিন। মা কালী কে নিয়ে আমরা রাজনীতি করি না”।

তিনি আরও বলেন, “সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে কোনো খবর পড়লে আগে যাচাই করে নেবেন। গুজবে কান দেবেন না”।

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today announced that the State Government will no longer take revenue for agricultural land. The announcement was made to give farmers a relief because they have been hit hard by demonetisation and kharif crops have suffered, the CM said.

She also appealed to the Centre to waive farm loans. She said that before elections the BJP had made a promise to waives farmers’ loans but have done nothing yet.

The CM today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a bouquet of developmental projects for the Paschim Medinipur district from a public meeting at Kharagpur College Maidan. The projects inaugurated today by the Chief Minister include a Krishak Bazar, a market complex, water supply projects, a flood rehabilitation centre, road projects, government buildings, godowns among others. She will also distributed benefits for various schemes.

 

Highlights of the Chief Minister’s speech:

  • We have started a scheme for those who have lost jobs due to demonetisation
  • We work for people all round the year; not just during elections
  • We have already distributed 35 lakh cycles under Sabuj Sathi last year. This year too we will distribute 35 lakh cycles
  • We will give cycles to Prani Mitra workers, ICDS and Asha workers. We have increased the honorarium for ICDS and Asha workers
  • From Sabuj Shree at birth to Samabyathi during death, we have schemes for birth till death
  • We give rice at Rs 2/kg to 8 crore people. We have started digital ration cards
  • Over 80,000 folk artistes receive monthly stipend of Rs 1000. We will register one lakh more artistes
  • Six multi super speciality hospitals have been set up in West Midnapore district alone
  • We have started water supply project ‘Jala Tirtha’ worth Rs 500 crore
  • A new stadium is being built at Medinipur and Kharagpur
  • Bengal will become self-sufficient in egg production. We will set up poultries for ducks like we have for hens
  • Bengal produces 80 lakh eggs annually. By next year we will produce 80 lakhs more
  • We are cultivating onion in arid zones of Bankura and Purulia. We have started a Hilsa Research Centre in Bengal
  • People in Bengal get healthcare for free in government hospitals. Even kidney transplant, heart operations performed for free

 

 

কৃষকদের সব ঋণ মুকুব করে নিল রাজ্য সরকার

রাজ্য সরকার কৃষকদের সব ঋণ মুকুব করে নিল – আজ খড়গপুরের একটি জনসভায় একথা ঘোষণা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। নোট বাতিলের ফলে খারিফ শস্য চাষের প্রচুর ক্ষতি হয়েছে তাই কৃষকদের সমস্যার কোথা ভেবেই রাজ্য সরকারের এই মানবিক সিদ্ধান্ত ।

কৃষকদের ঋণ মুকুব করে নেওয়ার জন্য কেন্দ্রকেও আবেদন জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন নির্বাচনের আগে বিজেপি বলেছিল কৃষকদের সব ঋণ মুকুব করে দেবে অথচ তারা এখনও কোন পদক্ষেপ নেয়নি।

আজ খড়গপুরের কলেজ মাঠের এই জনসভাতে একগুচ্ছ উন্নয়ন মূলক প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। কৃষক বাজার, একটি মার্কেট কমপ্লেক্স, জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প, বন্যা ও ঘূর্ণিঝড় আশ্রয়স্থল। গুদামঘর সহ আরও অনেক প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন তিনি। বেলদা মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতালের শিলান্যাসও করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

 

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশঃ

  • নোট বাতিলের ফলে যারা কর্মহীন হয়েছেন তাদের সাহায্যের জন্য আমরা একটি প্রকল্প চালু করেছি
  • শুধু নির্বাচনের সময় নয়, সারা বছর আমরা মানুষের জন্য কাজ করি
  • গত বছর আমরা ৩৫ লক্ষ সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল দিয়েছি। এই বছর আরও ৩৫ লক্ষ সাইকেল দেওয়া হবেঃ
  • প্রাণী মিত্র কর্মী, আই সি ডি এস ও আশার কর্মীদেরও আমরা সাইকেল দিচ্ছি। আই সি ডি এস ও আশার কর্মীদের ভাতা বৃদ্ধি করেছি
  • জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত আমরা বিভিন্ন সরকারী প্রকল্প চালু করেছি। জন্মের পর সবুজ শ্রী প্রকল্প ও মৃত্যুর পর সমব্যাথী প্রকল্প চালু করেছি
  • ৮ কোটি মানুষকে আমরা ২ টাকা কেজি দরে চাল দিচ্ছি। আমরা ডিজিটাল রেশন কার্ড চালু করেছি
  • ৮০ হাজারেরও বেশি লোক শিল্পী ১০০০ টাকা মাসিক ভাতা পান। আমরা ১ লক্ষ শিল্পীকে এই প্রকল্পে আওতাভুক্ত করব
  • পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরে ৬টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল তৈরী হয়েছে
  • ৫০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ‘জল তীর্থ’ প্রকল্প চালু করেছি আমরা
  • মেদিনীপুর ও খড়গপুরে একটি নতুন স্টেডিয়াম তৈরী হচ্ছে

Women from the Self-Help Groups in the Jangalmahal region would soon be initiated into cultivating magur fish (called catfish in English), which is a delicacy and hence, in high demand.

Under the initiative of the Bengal Government, four hatcheries would be created for the purpose and to start with, women from the Self-Help Groups would be given magur hatchlings.

Within six to seven months, the hatchlings would grow big enough to be sold in markets, with each fish weighing 80 to 100 kg. The fishes would be bought by the State Fisheries Development Corporation Limited of West Bengal, through which they would be released into the markets.

This initiative would lead to higher production of magur, which in turn would lead to lowering of prices, and generation of employment too in the Jangalmahal region. There are plants to export the fish to neighbouring States too.

Immediately after becoming Chief Minister in 2011, Mamata Banerjee had launched developmental schemes to bring the backward Jangalmahal region to the level of the rest of Bengal. As a result, now Jangalmahal is smiling.

 

 

জঙ্গলমহলে চাষ হবে দেশি মাগুর

জঙ্গলমহলের জলাশয়ে চাষ হবে দেশি মাগুর মাছ। স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মহিলাদেরও এই প্রকল্পে যুক্ত করা হবে।

৪টি হ্যাচারি বানানো হবে। মাছের চারা দেওয়া হবে স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মহিলাদের। রাজ্য ম९স্য উন্নয়ন নিগম তাঁদের কাছ থেকে তা কিনে নেবে। এর ফলে মাছের উ९পাদন বাড়বে।

পাশাপাশি জঙ্গলমহলে আরও কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি হবে। প্রতিবেশী রাজ্যেও এই মাছ পাঠানোর পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে।

২০১১ সালে ক্ষমতায় এসেই মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় পিছিয়ে–পড়া জঙ্গলমহলের উন্নয়নে জোর দিয়েছিলেন। একগুচ্ছ উন্নয়নমূলক প্রকল্পও চালু করেছেন। জঙ্গলমহল এখন হাসছে।

৬–৭ মাসের মধ্যে চারামাছ বাজারে বিক্রির জন্য তৈরি হয়ে যাবে। মাছের ওজন হবে মোটামুটি ৮০–১০০ গ্রাম।

রাজ্যের ম९স্যমন্ত্রী চন্দ্রনাথ সিনহা জানান, ‌‘মাছের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধির জন্যই এই উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হচ্ছে। মানুষকে আরও কম দামে মাছ কিনতে পারবেন’‌।
