Nine projects from Bengal win SKOCH awards
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced through a Facebook message on September 9 that nine “innovative and people-friendly projects” of the Bengal Government have been awarded the SKOCH Order of Merit.
Among the nine projects, six have won the top awards in their categories.
SKOCH Platinum Awards have been won by three projects:
- Project on Ease of Doing Business
- Project on Inspection Reforms
- Project on Quality Early Childhood Care and Education for the scheme, Sishu Aloy
Another three projects won SKOCH Gold Awards:
- Project on Skill Development and Enhancing Employability of Youth for the scheme, Yubashree
- Project on Social Security for Workers for the scheme, Samajik Suraksha Yojana
- e-District project on online services to citizens

I am happy to share with you what good governance in Bengal is achieving.
9 innovative and people-friendly projects from Bengal have got the SKOCH Order of Merit out which 6 have got the top awards.
SKOCH Platinum Awards have been won by our projects on Ease of Doing Business, Inspection Reforms and “Sishu Aloy” on quality early childhood care and education.
SKOCH Gold Awards have been won by “Yubashree” project on skill development and enhancing employability of youth, “Samajik Suraksha Yojana” project on social security for workers and e-District project on online services to citizens.

মমতার কাজে ভারত শ্রেষ্ঠ বাংলা
মা মাটি মানুষ সরকারের ফের একবার জয়জয়কার। শনিবার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় নিজের ফেসবুক ওয়ালে শেয়ার করে জানালেন, তৃণমূল সরকারের নয়টি প্রকল্প স্কচ গ্রুপের মেরিট লিস্টে নির্বাচিত হয়েছে। সমাজকল্যাণ মূলক প্রকল্পে পুরস্কার প্রদান করে স্কচ গোষ্ঠী। মমতার ৯টির মধ্যে ৬টি সমাজকল্যাণ মূলক প্রকল্পই শীর্ষ পুরস্কার পেয়েছে। তাঁর প্রকল্পগুলি যে সত্যি সাধারণ মানুষের কল্যাণে লেগেছে তার প্রমাণ স্বরূপ এই পুরস্কারগুলি পেয়ে স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই উচ্ছসিত মমতা।
