Trinamool to organise ‘Pabitra Yatra-Shanti Yatra-Ekta Yatra’ a day after ‘Ravan Yatra’ of BJP: Mamata Banerjee
Taking on BJP’s upcoming Rath Yatra plans in Bangla, Chairperson Mamata Banerjee today announced that the party will organise ‘Pabitra Yatra-Shanti Yatra-Ekta Yatra’ in the same route a day after the yatra.
She also dubbed BJP’s yatra as ‘Ravan Yatra’. “Is that a rath or a five-star vehicle? It has AC. It is a luxury Ravan Yatra.It is a political rath, not Shri Jagannath’s rath or Shri Krishna’s rath,” she said.
“Their rath is war rath. Ours is a mental journey. We will be on the roads with the people. Let them organise the yatra. Do not cross their path or get embroiled in any argument. Administration will do its job. Do not be worried about Ravan Yatra. Ravan brings with him negative energy,” she maintained.
