Kolkata, 11 Feb: The party leadership has appealed to Trinamool supporters from all districts in south Bengal to come and make the 20th February rally near Gandhi statue a huge success in order protest against the repeated genocides by the ruling party ‘harmads’ with the help of the state police force. In the press conference at Trinamool Bhawan today, Mr. Partha Chatterjee also reiterated the fact CPM is planning to destabilise the law and order in the entire state at this point in an effort to defer the assembly elections. To counter that, he added, the party would request the election commission to conduct the election at the earliest possible date.
