International Cyber Summit in Kolkata on Nov 16
With the support of the Bangla Government, an international conference on cybersecurity, called International Cyber Summit, will be held in Kolkata on November 16.
It is being organised by a private information technology (IT) company. NASSCOM, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and a few others are also providing support.
What with the recent spurt in cybercrimes, the need for such a summit is more than ever, said a senior official of the cyber wing of Kolkata Police.
The summit is being organised with the objective of creating an environment conducive to cybersecurity. It will focus on ways of developing cybersecurity, information security and data security. Several technological experts from across the world will be giving advice on the ways of minimising exposure to digital menace. This is the third edition of the international summit.
