Ms. Mamata Banerjee asks DG (Fire Services) to coordinate effort to minimize fire-related threats and asked to recruit civil defense volunteers by providing a two-month basic training in firefighting. Apart from fire hazard, the problem of traffic congestion was also discussed in the meeting.
