We will not be afraid, we will not die a thousand times before dying: Mamata Banerjee
Abhishek Banerjee and other senior Trinamool leaders were released from the Mukherjee Nagar Police Station after being detained for two hours.
Mamata Banerjee’s reactions on the incident:
Today is a black day for democracy. The BJP’s hatred for the people of Bengal and indifference to the rights of the poor have clearly come out today.
They are blocking the funds means for paying the poor. When our party leaders went to Delhi to protest against this, they were assaulted by Delhi Police. The police bundled them away in their vans like criminals.
All this because we dared to speak truth to power. Their pride has made them blind.
They have crossed all limits trying to stop the voice of Bengal. But we will not be afraid, we will not die a thousand times before dying.
