State Govt adopts ways to successfully market farmers’ produce
Krishak Bazar is one of the unique projects that the State Agricultural Marketing Department has been implementing. Through these government-owned market complexes, farmers are able to store and sell their produce in an affordable manner.
Krishak Bazaar
Krishal Bazaars provide a wide range of infrastructural facilities for farmers like auction platforms, weighbridges, modern warehouses and shops-cum-warehouses. Each complex also has a farmer’s rest house and an administrative building. The places are also served by very effective sewerage systems.
Farmer Producer Organisations
Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO) have been formed to promote cultivation and marketing of pulses, oilseeds and vegetables. Fifty FPOs, each comprising of 50,000 farmers have been formed in 11 districts of the state.
Under the State Government’s Sufal Bangla project, these FPOs are being engaged in the management of supply chains for the marketing of agricultural produce through the Sufal Bangla chain of fair-price shops for vegetables, fruits and grocery. A few FPOs also manage Sufal Bangla stalls.
Krishak Bazars and FPOs have successfully helped farmers across the state to effectively market their produce, and thus get proper prices. Also, through the former, vegetables, fruits and grains are now being stored in a proper manner. To help a much larger number of farmers, the State Government has plans to links FPOs it has formed to those formed by NABARD.
কৃষি বিপণনে রাজ্য সরকারের কিছু উদ্যোগ
২০১১ সালে ক্ষমতায় আসার পর থেকে কৃষিজ ক্ষেত্রে ধীরে ধীরে স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ রাজ্য হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করার জোর দিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। শুধু কৃষি নয়, পাশাপাশি কৃষি বিপননেও দেওয়া হয়েছে ব্যাপক জোর।
নেওয়া হয়েছে বেশ কিছু প্রকল্পঃ
কৃষক বাজার নির্মাণঃ
চাহিদার ওপর ভিত্তি করে বিভিন্ন ব্লকে ধাপে ধাপে এখনও পর্যন্ত ১৮৬টি কৃষক বাজার তৈরী করা হয়েছে। প্রতিটি বাজারে থাকছে অত্যাধুনিক পরিকাঠামোগত সুযোগ সুবিধা। যেমন, নিলাম ঘর, কৃষকদের বিশ্রাম ঘর, প্রশাসনিক দপ্তর, মাল বোঝাই মালগাড়ি বা গরুর গাড়ি ওজন করিবার যন্ত্রবিশেষ, গুদামঘর, গুদাম তথা দোকানঘর, পাকা রাস্তা ও উন্নত নিকাশি ব্যবস্থা।
ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশন গঠনঃ
ডাল, তৈলবীজ, আনাজ উৎপাদন তথা বিপণন প্রক্রিয়াকে উন্নীত করতে ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশন গঠন করা হয়েছে। এই প্রকল্পের অধীনে ১১টি জেলায় ৫০০০০ কৃষকদের দিয়ে গঠিত করা হয়েছে ৫০টি ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশন। সুফল বাংলা প্রকল্পে এই ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশনগুলি সরবরাহ শৃঙ্খলের দায়িত্বে আছে। কয়েকটি ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশন সুফল বাংলা বিপণন কেন্দ্রের দায়িত্বেও আছে। নাবার্ডের দ্বারা গঠিত ফার্মার্স প্রোডিউসার্স অর্গানাইজেশনগুলিকে এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনার প্রক্রিয়া চলছে।
