Bangla Govt plans to set up more industrial parks in districts
The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector is one of the brightest spots of the State Government. In this sector, Bangla is the in fact the best performer in the country.
Now, to bring about further improvements, the government is looking to buy more land for helping in the setting up of such enterprises.
The State owns industrial parks or estates in 18 subdivisions for the exclusive use of MSMEs. The MSME Department wants to set up industrial parks in 38 more subdivisions.
For this purpose, the department has sent letters to the district magistrates of 21 districts, asking them to identify plots which can be bought by the department. The worlk is going on in full swing.
