Derek O’Brien’s Point of Order, saying the Leader of the House spoke from outside his allotted seat
Yes, Sir, I am making my point. I am on your side, but you think I am not. Rule 235(vii) says, I quote, “A Member shall keep to his usual seat while addressing the Council”. On this Rule, I would request you to please check today’s video footage from 2.02 p.m. to 2.06 p.m. that is, for four minutes and ten seconds, one Member spoke today from outside his seat without your permission. His seat is in the second row. The Leader of the House went to the fourth row and he spoke. …(Interruptions)… How did you allow this? How will you allow this?
