Saket Gokhale’s Supplementary Question during Question Hour on whether the funds allocated for PM-PRANAM come from what the states save on fertilizer subsidies and whether the scheme is affecting the availability of DAP fertilizer
Sir, I just have a question because it pertains to the PM-PRANAM Scheme. Through you, I would like to ask the hon. Minister: Is it true that the Union Government has no separate Budget allocation for PM-PRANAM and the funds that are going to be given are from the money that the States themselves save on fertilizer subsidies? Number two, It is a part of this question, Sir. The hon. Minister talked about DAP fertilizers. There is a massive shortage today of DAP fertilizers in India. So, the question is: Is the PM-PRANAM Scheme affecting the availability of DAP fertilizers?
