FULL TRANSCRIPT
Thank you, Deputy Speaker, Sir. On 76th anniversary Quit India Movement my respectful homage to all those who took part in the freedom struggle.
Sir, students, specially the girls, belonging SC/ST caste in the Balundi area of my parliamentary constituency, have been succeeding in education. Job opportunities and education, all around development for SC/ST caste are done by the Bangla Government, and today we are celebrating Adivasi Dibas in the State.
Balundi area comprises 50 villages and six panchayats with SC/ST population. People there are facing communication problem. After independence, Mamata Banerjee, as Railway Minister, had started railway connection to Arambagh. Many surveys have been done in Balundi, for the whole area, but till today no work has been done.
I urge the government to set up a halt station at Balundi for the common citizens who are shedding blood and sweat to see their children, and want to lead to a good life.
