Chief Minister inaugurates `Bengal Builds`, requests industrialists to invest in Bengal
West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee inaugurates �Bengal Builds', the conclave on urban infrastructure development at the Milan Mela Grounds in Kolkata. The three-day-long exhibition cum business summit will focus on various aspects related to real estate, architecture and planning. The State will exhibit its areas of strength and opportunities in varied sectors and facilitate interaction.
Speaking on this occasion Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee said, `I am committed towards the development in the State and this event is a step forwards to achieve that goal. I welcome you all to invest in the State and become a partner in development process which has come after 35-years of misrule of the Left and I can assure you that nothing can deter me from my commitment`.
The Chief Minister requesting not to confuse and compare between Bengal and other states on the financial resources which has received huge debt from the Left Front Government that has ruined the State during its misrule in the last 35-years, `I would love to give more incentives and accept to all your requests and demands. My heart wants to but my practical problem is that we have to repay all the revenue which we earn towards the repayment of the debt made by the previous Left Front Government`.
The Conclave is being attended by a large number of industrialists from India and aboard. Large numbers of architects, planners and builders including foreign business delegations will participate in the summit. Seminars and Panel discussions on the B2B and G2B modules will commence daily from 2 pm to 7 pm by eminent speakers from the industry.
The West Bengal State Industry Minister assured the industrialist that if they have concrete plans then land will not be an issue, `I want to assure you on behalf of the Chief Minister that land will not be any problem sand if you have plans and programmes towards investment. I would request you to submit your proposals and presentations. We will take up the matter and will give you our utmost cooperation in all perspective`.
The Bengal Builds 2012 will be on from 29th November to 1st December 2012 at the Milan Mela Prangan from 11am to 8pm.
