FULL TRANSCRIPT

Sir, this is a very important question, and Mr Jaishankar should have been present here. I saw in the papers that he had gone on a six-day visit to Australia. He is new to this system, you please advise him to be present while the Parliament session is on, so that we can get proper replies from the Minister. Number two, aap ko zaroor bataya hoga, is samay jane ka, do din baad jaate.

Sir, yeh jo paanch republics hai, isko bola jata hain ‘former Soviet Republics’. Yeh sab Soviet Union mein the. Yeh pehle Soviet Union ka ….Sir, mera question pe do sentence mein main aa jaunga … aur iske saath Hindustan ka bahut gehra taaluk hai. Aap jante hain ki Samrat Babur Uzbekistan se Bharat mein aaya the, unka janam hua tha Fergana karke ek chhota shahar mein. Yeh, main nahi … lekin abhi yeh, yeh paanch desh ka ….arre Babur ka to aap masjid tod diya, woh doosri baat hai.

Sir, mera sawal bahut seedha hai. Aap jante hain yeh jo Tajikistan hai, yeh Afghanistan ka border mein hai. Afghanistan, Amu Darya, uske baad Tajikistan. Yeh chaaro taraf Afghanistan se ghera hua hain. Yahan par likha hai, ‘There is a broad, regional consensus on Afghanistan.’ Afghanistan, because of the Americans’ fault, is today in the hands of Taliban, and it is [a] threatening [situation] since this is the way to India. It is threatening the security of the country.

May I know from the Honourable Minister, what was the broad regional consensus on Afghanistan, which is being ruled by extremists, the Taliban forces, which are hostile to India? Minister, would you please tell us, what was the broad regional consensus? [Was there] just talk or [was there] some concrete action?
