Satabdi Roy speaks about promotion of AYUSH courses

Sir, I would like to speak about AYUSH. In the MBBS entrance examination this year (2019-20), the cut-off marks was 134. What will happen to those who scored 133? Moreover, AYUSH does not feature in BDS course.
If someone is mentally prepared to study AYUSH, NET can conduct a separate examination for them, so that they can take admission in AYUSH course only. AYUSH courses can be started within government colleges. No separate campus is required. If we connect AYUSH with MBBS and BDS, it will be very helpful, I feel.
There are vacancies in 70 per cent colleges. I feel the government should take positive steps if they want AYUSH courses to become more popular among students.
