`I am aggrieved over the percentage of girls dropouts and getting married at an early age. Girls studying in classes 8, 9, 10 and 11 with parent`s monthly income Rs. 50,000 will get a scholarship of Rs. 500 annually. Those who will not marry till 18-years of age will be given Rs. 25,000 which they can use according to their requirements` At Writers` Building, Kolkata March 6, 2013
