Trinamool’s dharna against demonetisation gets huge response in Odisha
After Delhi, Lucknow and Patna, Trinamool staged a massive dharna to protest against demonetisation in Baleswar, Odisha. The dharna at the Gandhi Smriti Bhavan Maidan near Kacchari More in Baleswar attracted thousands of common people who raised their voices against the Centre’s whimsical decision.
All India General Secretary of the party, Subrata Bakshi led the charge alongside senior leader Suvendu Adhikari and other leaders from Bengal and Odisha.
At the dharna, the party leadership highlighted the plight of the people across the country. Subrata Bakshi said that after losing the Assembly elections in Delhi, Bengal and Bihar, BJP will be taught a lesson by the people of Uttar Pradesh too.
At the dharna, it was announced on the day that Trinamool will open a party office at Baleswar on January 1, the Foundation Day of the party.

দিল্লি, লখলউ ও পাটনার পর উড়িষ্যার বালেশ্বরে নোট কাণ্ডের প্রতিবাদে বিশাল জনসভা করল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। বালেশ্বরের কাছারি মোড়ে গান্ধী স্মৃতিভবন মাঠে আয়োজিত হয়েছিল এই প্রতিবাদ সভা। হাজার হাজার মানুষ এদিন এই প্রতিবাদ সভায় অংশ নেন।
তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক সুব্রত বক্সি, শুভেন্দু অধিকারি সহ বাংলার অন্যান্য নেতারা এদিন ওড়িশার ধর্না মঞ্চে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। ধর্নায় নেতারা দেশের মানুষের দুর্দশার কথা তুলে ধরেন। সুব্রত বক্সি বলেন, দিল্লি, বাংলা ও বিহারের বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে হারের পর এবার উত্তর প্রদেশের মানুষ উচিত শিক্ষা দেবে বিজেপিকে ।
এদিনের সভামঞ্চ থেকে ঘোষিত হয় যে, আগামী ১লা জানুয়ারি দলের প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসে বালেশ্বরে একটি পার্টি অফিস খুলবে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস।
