Trinamool demands thorough investigation on Sahara diaries
Trinamool today called for thorough investigation into Sahara diaries which names several top political leaders, including the Prime Minister.
The Vice President of Indian National Congress raised this issue of corruption at a public meeting in Gujarat today. Trinamool welcomed the move.
Speaking on the issue, Chief National Spokesperson of the party and the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha, Derek O’Brien said, “We had protested outside the Parliament on December 2, 2014. All our MPs from both the Houses had protested with red diaries in their hands. We raised the issue strongly in Parliament.”
He added that a strong enquiry is necessary to bring the truth out.
