Three-level stage for Martyrs Day Meeting, a turnout of 15 Lakhs expected

Kolkata, July 16: The Shaheed Dibas Samabesh on July 21, 2011 is going to be an event that will create history in the heart of the city, on the Brigade Parade Ground. The Martyrs of 21st July will be remembered with oaths of development. The newly-elected Trinamool Government will take an oath to recreate a new Bengal.

Innovative measures are being taken to prepare for this grand day in order to facilitate those who will attend this historic meeting, which besides its sombre theme, also will portray the victory over evil forces. The new Trinamool Government will be aptly welcomed for tearing down a 34-year old oppressive regime.

The stage is being built on three levels to accommodate the Chair Person of All India Trinamool Congress. Ms. Mamata Banerjee, Union Ministers and Members of Parliament of Trinamool Congress, State Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly and most importantly the Shaheed Parivars, the families of the Martyrs.

Indian Army, who maintains the Brigade Parade Ground, has cooperated and necessary permissions have been made available from the Kolkata Police.

Security barricades are to be put up for safety measures.
