Micro, small and medium industries can book land online
The Bengal Government will make the process of allotting land to entrepreneurs for micro, small and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) online from November. This is another major step taken by the government in making doing business easily in Bengal.
A software developed under the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ project to help entrepreneurs apply to get land to set up industries will now be made accessible for those wanting to set up micro, small and medium-scale units in the industrial parks under the West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation (WBSIDC).
One needs to log in into the website, www.landwbsidcl.silpasathi.in to complete the task of giving particulars of a project, along with the detailed project report (DPR) and its financial viability, in the prescribed format.
After filling in the details, the entrepreneur will have to visit the office of WBSIDC one single time for a discussion of the project.
Once the allotment of land on a long-term lease is approved, which usually takes place within 60 days of the application, the entrepreneur will get the certificate of allotment. Subsequently, the entrepreneur can make payment using debit or credit cards or through net banking.
The data related to available land in all the 40 industrial parks and estates under WBSICD across the state can be accessed online so that one can choose a plot as per requirement.

ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্পের জন্য জমি মিলবে এবার অনলাইনে
নভেম্বর মাস থেকে রাজ্য সরকারের উদ্যোগে ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্পের জন্য উদ্যোগপতিরা জমির বুকিং করতে পারবেন অনলাইনে। ‘ইস অফ ডুইং বিজনেস’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় একটি সফটওয়্যার তৈরি করা হয়েছিল যেখানে বড় প্রকল্পের জন্য জমির আবেদন করা যেত। ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল স্মল ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ ডেভেলপমেন্ট কর্পোরেশনের অধীনস্থ ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্কগুলিতে জমি পেতে এবার ওই সফটওয়্যারের মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে পারবেন ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্পপতিরাও।
এর আগে এই আবেদন পত্র জমা দিতে ও অ্যালটমেন্ট সার্টিফিকেট নিতে উদ্যোগপতিদের কর্পোরেশন অফিস যেতে হত; এখন পুরো কাজই হবে অনলাইনে। এর জন্য landwbsidcl.silpasathi.in সাইটে লগ ইন করতে হবে। আবেদনকারীকে প্রকল্পের ডিপিআর ও আর্থিক কার্যকরতা জমা দিতে হবে সাইটে। রাজ্যের ৪০টি ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্ক ও এস্টেটের সম্পূর্ণ বিবরণও পাওয়া যাবে এখানে। সেখান থেকে যে কেউ নিজের ইচ্ছে মতো জমি বাছাই করতে পারবেন।
জমির লিজ মঞ্জুর হয়ে গেলে, যার জন্য সাধারণত ৬০ দিন সময় লাগে, আবেদনকারী অ্যালটমেন্ট সার্টিফিকেট পেয়ে যাবেন। এর পর ওই জমির জন্য ডেবিট বা ক্রেডিট কার্ডের মাধ্যমে টাকা দেওয়া যাবে।
