Forcible acquisition will stop – Trinamool Chief

Mamata said while addressing a meeting of the Trinamool Chhatra Parishad in Kolkata on Saturday the legislation would ensure land wasn’t forcibly acquired for industry. The railway minister said: “We have shown the way through Singur and Nandigram, from Aligarh to Lalgarh against forcible acquisition of land. We have been consistently saying that no land should be acquired forcibly. No forcible acquisition of land will get priority in the proposed land law.”
