‘Dekho Re’ to restart today at Laldighi
The food-cum-cultural festival organised by Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), ‘Dekho Re’ is going to re-start today at Laldighi. It was suspended because of the rainy season, followed by the festive season of Durga Puja and Kali Puja.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is the brain behind the festival.
‘Dekho Re’ had begun last April, from Poila Baisakh – the beginning of the Bengali year – at Laldighi in BBD Bag in Kolkata. It is organised jointly by the departments of Information and Broadcasting, Tourism, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
It will start from 5 pm every Saturday and Sunday. A variety of Bengali dishes would be available, and people can have them accompanied by presentations by well-known artistes of the state.
ফিরতে চলেছে লালদীঘিতে উইকএন্ড-আড্ডা ‘দেখো-রে’
ফিরতে চলেছে লালদীঘিতে সাংস্কৃতিক আড্ডা ও খাদ্যের সমাহার, ‘দেখো-রে’। গত ১৫ই এপ্রিল রাইটার্স বিল্ডিং সংলগ্ন এই ঐতিহাসিক জলাশয়কে কেন্দ্র করে শুরু হয়েছিল এক সাংস্কৃতিক সমাগম, যা বর্ষা ও উৎসবের মরশুমকে কেন্দ্র করে স্থগিত রাখা হয়েছিল। এই অনুষ্ঠানটি আবারও আয়োজিত হবে প্রতি শনি ও রবিবার।
কলকাতা কর্পোরেশন, রাজ্য পরিবহণ দপ্তর এবং তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি দপ্তর একযোগে জিপিও’র বিপরীতে লালদীঘির পাশে এই অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে। এখানে রাজ্যবাসী ও পর্যটকরা বাউল গান, পুরুলিয়ার ছৌনাচ, ধামসা মাদল সহ বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান উপভোগ করতে পারেন।
এই অনুষ্ঠানকে কেন্দ্র করে লালদীঘিকে সাজানো হয়েছে অপরুপে।
