Blog by IIM Grads to highlight Bengal`s growth in 3 years

Like 2011, during the Lok Sabha elections2014, Trinamool had recruited two interns from IIM, Kolkata to work with theparty`s digital team. Mr Derek O`Brien, National Spokesperson & Chief Whip,on March 2 interviewed the four IIM final year students and selected two,  Tanmay Mondal and Samprati Motghare.

Both of them wrote 40 blogs to highlightthe development work done by the West Bengal government in various sectors -from `Kanyasree` and `Jal dharo jal bharo` (save water store water) tomaintenance of law and order in the Jangalmahal. The blog produced a detailedreport on the achievement in the eyes of the two IIM grads.

Both Mr Mondal and Mr Motghare havespecialized in marketing and operations and both have a knack forpolitics.  While Mr Mondal is a B.Techfrom BESU, Mr Motghare was a B.Tech from Delhi IIT.

Incidentally, two post graduate MBAstudents from IIM, Kolkata, opted to do a one and half-month internship withTrinamool Congress, in April-May 2011. Mr Hariharan Sriram and Ms Mansha Tandonwere a part of the AITC team when the party swept away 34 years of Left rulefrom the state.

The blog posts written by them gave aneutral perspective of the developmental work done by the West Bengalgovernment in the last three years.
