Bengal Govt introduces ‘Matir Katha’ app for farmers
The Bengal Government has introduced the ‘Matir Katha – Krishoker Katha’ app for the benefit of the State’s farmers. Through this app, all important farming-related information would be available at the tips of farmers’ fingers, literally. The app is available through Google Play Store.
Information relating to crop problems, natural calamities, government schemes, farmers’ registration with the Department of Agriculture and contact details of block Agriculture Department offices are available in the app.
The app also contains the toll-free number where farmers can call and talk to experts, and register their complaints as well. The number is 18001031100.

এবার কৃষকদের জন্য মোবাইল অ্যাপ্লিকেশন “মাটির কথা” আনল রাজ্য সরকার
কৃষকদের সহায়তায় “মাটির কথা” অ্যাপ্লিকেশন তৈরি করল রাজ্য সরকার। এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের মাধ্যমে কৃষকরা সরাসরি যাবতীয় কৃষি সংক্রান্ত দরকারি জিজ্ঞাস্যের উত্তর পাবেন। গুগল প্লেস্টোরে Matir Katha লিখে খুঁজলেই পাওয়া যাবে কৃষকদের সহায়তাকারী এই মোবাইল অ্যাপ্লিকেশন।
দেখে নেওয়া যাক কি কি ধরনের সহায়তা পাওয়া যাবে এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশনটি থেকে। এখানে পাওয়া যাবে চাষবাস সংক্রান্ত প্রশ্নের উত্তর, প্রাকৃতিক যেকোনো দুর্যোগের রিপোর্ট, সহায়তা মিলবে কৃষকের তথ্য নিবন্ধীকরণে। কৃষি দপ্তরে যোগাযোগও করা যাবে এই অ্যাপলিকেশন থেকে, সরকারি নানান প্রকল্পের বিবরণ মিলবে এখানে, আর সব কিছুতেই পাওয়া যাবে বিশেষজ্ঞদের মতামত।
এছাড়াও কৃষকদের সহায়তার জন্য খোলা হয়েছে টোল ফ্রি ফোন নম্বরও। মাটির কথা’তে সরাসরি যোগাযোগ করতে সোমবার থেকে শনিবার সকাল ৭টা থেকে সন্ধ্যে ৭টা পর্যন্ত যে কেউ ফোন করতে পারবেন ১৮০০ ১০৩ ১১০০ নম্বরে।
এছাড়াও আরও বিশদে জানতে কৃষকরা তাঁর নিজের নিজের ব্লকের সহ-কৃষি অধিকর্তার দপ্তরে যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন। এ ছাড়া www.matirkatha.gov.in, এই ওয়েবসাইটেও তাঁরা যেতে পারেন।
