Agriculture or industry, Bengal is right ahead
Whether it is agriculture or industry, Bengal is right ahead in every sphere.
From disbursing Kisan Credit Cards to setting Kisan Bazaars and giving pattas to landless individuals, the government has always stood by the farmers of the State.
Even in industry, Bengal is performing better than the rest. In the Bengal Global Business Summit in 2016, investment proposals worth Rs 2.5 lakh crores were received.
Here are the FIVE biggest achievements in the agriculture and industry:
Agriculture:
Increase in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery in 2014-15: West Bengal 6.49% India 1.1%
Production of foodgrains has increased to 17.4 million tonnes (2014) from 14.8 million tonnes (2011)
More than 6.9 million farmers have received the Kisan Credit Card
121 Krishak Bazars, out of 176, have been set up
300,000 landless individuals have received pattas

Industry:
Increase in Industry – Bengal grew at 10.59% whereas India grew at 7.3% in 2015-16
Core Committee and Task Force on Industry : Sector Committees have been set up for industries with a mix of senior bureaucrats and business leaders, who deliberate on sector challenges, recommend policy initiatives, and suggest streamlining of processes and report to a Steering Committee
Unique Clearance Centre (UCC) : Set up in Howrah, Jalpaiguri, Burdwan, Purulia, Hooghly and Bankura districts. It is a dedicated
set up for fast tracking mutation and conversion of land for industry purpose. More than 1000 acres of land mutation and conversion has happened at these UCCs during the last one and a half years.
64% growth in export:The total export from the IT Industry of the State is estimated at Rs. 13,686 crore in 2013-14 as compared to Rs. 8335 crore of 2010-11 showing a growth of about 64% in only 3 (three) years or more than 20% year-on-year.
West Bengal MSME Venture Capital Fund : With a corpus of Rs. 200 crore launched in 2015 with an aim to provide equity support to
potential and innovative small and medium enterprises in the State.
কৃষি এবং শিল্পে এগিয়ে বাংলা
কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড বিতরণ থেকে শুরু করে কিষাণ বাজার তৈরী করা – সব ব্যাপারেই কৃষকদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছে সরকার। শিল্পেও বাংলা অভূতপূর্ব অগ্রগতি আনতে পেরেছে। ২০১৬ বেঙ্গল গ্লোবাল বিজনেস সামিটে ২.৫ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগ এসেছে। কৃষি এবং শিল্পে ৫টি সবচেয়ে বড় সাফল্যগুলি হল এইগুলি:-
কৃষি:
কৃষি, বন্যসম্পদ উন্নয়ন এবং মাছচাষে সারা দেশে বৃদ্ধির হার ১.১%, পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সেখানে ৬.৪৯%।
খাদ্যশস্যের উৎপাদন ২০১১-তে ১৪.৮ মিলিয়ন টন থেকে বেড়ে ২০১৪ সালে হয়েছে ১৭.৪ মিলিয়ন টন।
৬৯ লক্ষেরও বেশি চাষী আজ কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড পেয়েছেন।
১৭৬ কৃষক বাজারের মধ্যে ১২১টি ইতিমধ্যেই কাজ শুরু করে দিয়েছে।
৩ লক্ষ ভূমিহীন কৃষকরা পাট্টা পেয়েছেন।
শিল্প:
শিল্পে বৃদ্ধি: বাংলায় ২০১৫-১৬ সালে শিল্পে বৃদ্ধির হার ১০.৫৯%, যেখানে সারা দেশে সেটি মাত্র ৭.৩%।
শিল্পে কোর কমিটি এবং টাস্ক ফোর্স: শিল্পপতি ও উচ্চপদস্থ আমলাদের নিয়ে সেক্টর কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে যা শিল্পক্ষেত্রে সমস্যা খুঁজে, তার সঠিক নীতি নির্ধারণ করে, সমাধান বার করে স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির কাছে রিপোর্ট পাঠাবে।
ইউনিক ক্লিয়ারেন্স সেন্টার (UCC): এগুলি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে হাওড়া, জলপাইগুড়ি, বর্ধমান, পুরুলিয়া, হুগলি, এবং বাঁকুড়া জেলায়ে। জমি মিউটেশনের কাজ ও শিল্পের জন্য জমি রূপান্তরের কাজ তরান্বিত করতে এগুলি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে, যার ফলে গত দেড় বছরে এক হাজার একর জমির উপর এই কাজ করা সম্ভব হয়েছে।
রপ্তানিতে ৬৪% বৃদ্ধি: আই টি শিল্পে রপ্তানি ২০১০-১১ সালের ৮,৩৩৫ কোটি টাকা থেকে বেড়ে মাত্র তিন বছরের মাথায়ে ২০১৩-১৪ সালে হয়েছে ১৩,৬৮৬ কোটি টাকা যা হল বছরে প্রায় ২০% বৃদ্ধি।
পশ্চিমবঙ্গ MSME ভেঞ্চার ক্যাপিটাল ফান্ড: রাজ্যে সম্ভাব্য ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের শিল্পকে স্বাগত জানাতে এটি ২০০ কোটি টাকা মূলধন নিয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
