40 schemes of Bangla Govt to be the theme of Durga Puja Pandal in Kolkata
Bangla Chief Minister has always maintained that her only mission is to make Bangla the best in the world (Bangla hobe Biswa Sera). To achieve her dream, she has initiated several schemes and programmes in the last seven years.
These schemes are not only benefitting crores of people in the State, but have also received international and national recognition.
Kanyashree scheme, a brainchild of Mamata Banerjee, won the UN Public Service Award (First Prize) last year. It has been a huge success and has touched more than 50 lakh lives. So, much so that the CM recently announced that all girls will now be eligible for Kanyashree, irrespective of family income.
Similarly, the Khadya Sathi scheme has benefitted more than 8.5 crore people of the State. The State has also achieved great success and emerged as number one in rural job creation. From Sabuj Sathi to Sabuj Shree, Geetanjali to Gatidhara – the schemes are aplenty, and beneficiaries are ever increasing.
To highlight these achievements of the State Government, and to spread awareness about various government schemes and benefits among the common people, a Durga Puja organizer in Kolkata has chosen 40 schemes of the State Government as this year’s theme.
20 pally Durga Puja in Padmapukur area will highlight the schemes of Bangla Government at their pandal. It will be a storehouse of information for the common public.
