Sudip Bandyopadhyay asks Supplementary Questions on connectivity of airports in Bengal

The Honourable Minister visited Kolkata just one week back, I think, and declared that due to non-availability of land, a second airport will not be possible. The old airport has certain limitations and so a new one needs to be built. Our Chief Minister proposed that Andal Airport be used for the purpose.
First Supplementary Question
I want to know from the Honourable Minister, why are you not considering Andal as the alternative, which the state government has proposed to you, and what is the difficulty in implementing the project of your dreams of a second airport in West Bengal? Why is it not being implemented?
Second Supplementary Question
We are opposed to the forceful occupancy of land. We will not allow that. Therefore, you will have to implement your project taking that into account. We did not allow Tata to implement that [forceful occupancy of land].
