WB CM inaugurates 38th International Kolkata Book Fair at Milan Mela
The 38th Kolkata International Book Fair was inaugurated by Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee at the Milan Mela Prangan. The fair will be thrown open to the public on 29th February and will continue till 9th February. Peru has been selected as the `theme` of this year`s book fair.
Ms. Francesca Denegri, celebrated poet of Peru along with Mr. Javier Paulinich, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Peru, made the event special. Also among the invitees were two Peruvian dancers, who will be performing during the closing ceremony. Singer Ms. Usha Uthup, has composed and sung the new theme song for the 38th International Kolkata Book Fair.
