Trinamool Congress to move no confidence motion in Parliament, Chairperson requests political parties to protest

Trinamool Congress Chairperson and West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee convened a meeting with the Trinamool Congress Member of Parliaments at Writers` Building to discuss the strategies in the run up to winter session of the Parliament. She said that her party will protest the anti-people-policies like Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail, Pension Bill, price hike in fuel and fertilizer prices.
The Chief Minister said that the Trinamool Congress has decided to bring a vote of no confidence in the Parliament. `Trinamool Congress to move no confidence motion on opening of parliament citing price rise, corruption, loot of motherland & anti people politics of government`.
Speaking on this occasion the Chief Minister said that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is taking anti-people-policies and is least bothered about the common man who is finding hard to survive due to the sudden price hikes in every sphere. `We will continue to oppose FDI in retail and issues like hike in fuel and fertilizer price and pension bill. I just convened a meeting with the Trinamool MPs and have decided to bring vote of no confidence in the Parliament `, said Ms. Banerjee.
The Trinamool Congress Chief requested all the political parties to raise their voices against the anti-people-policies and stand for the cause concerning common people, `I request all the political parties irrespective of our differences since this is a issue where we stand in the interest of the common man. I therefore would like to request you all to raise your voices and protest the price hike by UPA`.
