Trianmool Congress campaigns extensively for Kanthi Dakshin by-election
Trinmool Congress has campaigned hard for the upcoming bypoll for the Kanthi Dakshin Assembly seat. The polling is going to be held on Sunday, April 9. The seat was vacated as Dibyendu Adhikari resigned after he was elected to the Lok Sabha.
The party has fielded the Trinamool Mahila Congress President Chandrima Bhattacharyya from this seat. She has has covered almost every Panchayat and municipality areas of the Kanthi Dakshin, meeting with the people and intimating them about the success of the Trinamool Government under Mamata Banerjee.
