Mamata Banerjee: “Victory of democracy”
Addressing a crowd outside the Trinamool HQ in Kalighat, Mamata Banerjee said: "It is a victory of democracy. It is a victory of the people. It is victory for 'Maa Mati Manush'. It is a victory after a long struggle. This is what the people of Bengal have been waiting for 34 years. It's like a freedom movement. We are thankful to everyone across the country and the media. We would like to thank Honorable Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his message. We have also received meessage from Smt. Sonia Gandhi. We will provide good governance. We will provide good governance. There will be no autocracy. This is the people's verdict. The people are the winners. Thank you."
