Now, a WhatsApp number for reporting road conditions
The State Public Works Department has launched a WhatsApp number where citizens can send complaints regarding bad road conditions.
The number designated for the purpose is 9073362000 and it is applicable for anywhere in Bengal.
If a person notices any problem with any road – big roads or small lanes – and even culverts, flyovers, overbridges, etc., contacting this number will ensure help.
With this step, the Bengal Government has once again reiterated its commitment towards citizen-centric governance. It will be much easier for people to alert the administration about any damage to roads, buildings or bridges in their area.
