The first Hill Business Summit in Darjeeling concluded today on a very positive note. In only two days of the summit, investment proposals worth nearly Rs 2000 Crore were received for new businesses in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong and Mirik in food processing, tourism, hotel, dairy, aquarium, orchids, eco tourism, tea tourism, medicinal plants, handicrafts, agro-industries and other sectors including development at Matigara, the gateway to the hills.
