Republic Day celebrations portray West Bengal’s developmental schemes and culture
The 67th Republic Day was celebrated with much fanfare in West Bengal. The official State Government celebrations were held on Red Road.It was attended by West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee and her Cabinet colleagues. The Governor hoisted the national flag.
The Chief Minister tweeted her greetings to everyone: “Greetings to everyone on the occasion of 67th Republic Day.”
It was followed by a march past of armed forces and police forces. A colourful parade and procession with decorated tableaux portraying the State’s culture and heritage were the highlights of the programme.
Various developmental schemes of the State Government were also showcased in the parade. Students from various parts of Bengal took part in the colourful programme.
প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসের কুচকাওয়াজে বাংলার উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প ও সংস্কৃতিকে তুলে ধরা হল
সারা দেশের মত পশ্চিমবঙ্গেও পালিত হয়েছে ৬৭ তম প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবস। রাজ্য সরকার রেড রোডে এই দিবস পালন করেছে।
উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজ্যের মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রীমতী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করলেন রাজ্যপাল কেশরীনাথ ত্রিপাঠি।
মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এদিন সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে সকল দেশবাসীকে প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসের শুভেচ্ছা জানান।
কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী ও কলকাতা পুলিশ বাহিনীও অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল রেড রোডের এই কুচকাওয়াজে। এগিয়ে বাংলার ট্যাবলোর সঙ্গে বর্ণাঢ্যময় শোভাযাত্রার মাধ্যমে শুরু হল এই অনুষ্ঠান।
রাজ্য সরকারের বিভিন্ন উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প প্রদর্শিত হয়েছে এই কুচকাওয়াজে। অঙ্গনওয়াড়ি কেন্দ্রের ‘শিশু আলয় ট্যাবলো’ নির্মল বাংলা ট্যাবলো’, ‘মেয়েদের উন্নয়নে কন্যাশ্রী ট্যাবলো’, মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নিজের হাতে আঁকা ‘বিশ্ব বাংলা ট্যাবলো’ সাজানো হয়েছিল রাজ্যের শিল্পকলা দিয়ে।
বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে আসা ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল।
