During the past couple of years, I have visited the North Bengal 26 times. I know that the people in North Bengal have been neglected for a long time. Even after 66 years of Independence, North Bengal did not have a Secretariat. We have set up one in 32 months. (at the inauguration of Uttar Kanya, North Bengal secretariat, January 20, 2014)
